Steps to Access Your EPFO Member Passbook Online

EPFO Member passbook is one of the online facilities provided by EPFO to the employees so that they can be updated about the transactions in their PF accounts. To access this passbook online, you will need to follow some steps that we are mentioning below. Please check!

Step 1-: The first step will be to visit the official EPFO portal. Upon reaching here, you will see the option of ‘Our Services’ on the menu. After clicking this option, you will see the option of ‘For Employees’.

Step 2-: After clicking on the ‘For Employees’ option, you will see ‘Member Passbook’. Click on it.

Step 3-: As soon as you click this option, you will redirect to a page where you will need to enter your UAN, password, and captcha code. Fill in these details to log in to your PF account.

Step 4-: After logging in to the account, you will be able to access your EPFO member passbook instantly.

Your EPFO passbook will have the following details.

1. Establishment ID and name of your employer (company)

2. Member ID and name of the member (employee)

3. Name of the EPFO office and its type

4. Employee’s and Employer’s share in the contribution

5. Monthly deposits and withdrawal contribution of the employer and employee

6. Monthly contribution towards the pension account of the employee

7. Date and time of the printing of the passbook at the end of the statement

Important Points Related to the EPFO Member Passbook

1. This passbook facility is provided only to the members registered on the Unified Member portal.

2. Your EPFO member passbook will be available as soon as 6 hours after registration at the Unified Member portal.

3. If you make any changes in the credentials at the member portal, it will reflect in your account after 6 hours.

4. The passbook facility will not be available for the exempted establishment member, members who have settled their PF accounts, and inoperative members.
