Step by Step Procedure of Kotak Credit Card Application


You can apply for a credit card at Kotak Mahindra Bank either offline or online. For an online application, you need to follow the steps below -


If you're an existing customer of Kotak Mahindra Bank

  • Visit Kotak Mahindra Bank official website

  • Login to your account using CRN or username

  • Click at ‘Explore Products’ and select ‘Credit Card’

  • Compare all the available Kotak Credit Cards

  • Select a Kotak Credit Card and click the ‘Apply Now button

  • Enter your CRN or customer ID

  • Enter your registered mobile number

  • Click the checkbox, so Kotak Mahindra Bank can contact you regarding the credit card application

  • Click the ‘Proceed’ button


If you're not an existing customer of Kotak Mahindra Bank


  • Visit Kotak Mahindra Bank official website

  • Click at ‘Explore Products’ and select ‘Credit Card’

  • Select a Kotak Credit Card

  • Click the ‘Apply Now button

  • Fill in the following information - first name, email id, mobile number, type of employment, date of birth, PAN number, residence city name and Pincode, net monthly income.

  • Click the checkbox, so Kotak Mahindra Bank can contact you regarding the credit card application

  • Click the ‘Proceed’ button


To apply for a Kotak Credit Card offline, go to your nearby Kotak Mahindra Bank branch and ask the bank representative to show you the credit card options. Choose the credit card that suits your needs and apply for the same by submitting the duly filled application form along with the valid Id proof.


Track Your Kotak Credit Card Online


You can check your Kotak credit card application status either online or offline that is as follows - Online Procedure


When you apply for a Kotak credit card, the bank will send you a unique reference and the application form number via SMS through which you can track your application status online, to do so follow the steps below -

  • Visit the Kotak Mahindra Bank official website

  • Select the option of ‘explore products’

  • Click at ‘cards’ and select ‘credit card services’

  • Go to the ‘credit card services’ second page and click on the ‘application status’

  • Click the ‘select product’ and select ‘credit card’

  • After that, enter your Kotak credit card application number or form number

  • Click the ‘Submit’ button

When you complete the above procedure, your Kotak credit card application status will be displayed on your screen.


Offline Procedure


Go to your nearest branch of Kotak Mahindra Bank and show your unique reference number of Kotak credit card to the bank executives with your application form number and date of birth. Using all this information they will provide you the current status of your credit card application.


What Does My Kotak Credit Card Status Mean?

  • In Progress - Credit card application is received at the bank

  • Approved - The bank has approved your credit card application

  • Dispatched - Your Kotak credit card is on its way to your address

  • On Hold - This status could mean different things like - Failed verification process, incomplete documentation, or missing information

  • Declined - It shows your credit card application is rejected by the bank

Note - The entire process of Kotak credit card application and getting delivered will take almost 21 days.
